Different Styles of Plantation Shutters.

Tracked

Tracked shutters are Installed using top and bottom rolling tracks so the full weight of the shutters is distributed evenly, making the shutters more durable. They also fold neatly away when fully open, allowing ample light into the room. If you move house and want to take your shutters with you, they are easy to uninstall, reinstall, and be reused as room dividers.

Solid Panel

There are two types of solid panel shutters: Full solid shutters have no slats but are instead made with one solid piece of wood. They essentially act as black-out curtains but are more effective as they also help to retain heat and limit outside noise. Half-solid shutters come with similar benefits to their full-solid relations. However, the upper half of the shutter is slats that allow more light into the room. They will still retain heat but offer better light control rather than entirely blocking out natural light from your room.

Full Height

Full-height shutters are fitted to fit your window from top to bottom. These shutters are made using slats instead of solid pieces of wood. This means that they can be easily customised to fit your specific window requirements. Though, if you prefer, we can add a mid-railing which would allow you to split your shutters in half whenever you want in a similar style to tier-on-tier shutters. Full-height shutters offer excellent insulation once the shutters are fully shut and give you complete privacy without having to compensate for natural light.
