Yewbarrow Blinds were commissioned to design, supply and install a complete motorised roller blind system throughout a contemporary restaurant in Jersey, Channel Islands. The Challenge
The restaurant featured large glazed areas that allowed plenty of natural light, but this also created issues with glare and heat during busy dining hours. Our goal was to maintain the open, bright feel of the space while ensuring diners remained comfortable in all lighting conditions.
Our Solution
We installed motorised roller blinds using a 3% cream screen fabric, providing the ideal balance of visibility and shading. The fabric’s 3% openness allows natural light to gently filter through, reducing glare and heat while preserving outward views.
Each blind was fitted with a quiet, high-performance motor system and integrated remote operation, giving the client simple and reliable control over their entire shading setup. The clean, neutral tone of the cream screen fabric complements the restaurant’s modern interior, adding both functionality and sophistication.
